When coming to Davao, it will not be a complete experience without tasting Tatak Davao Fruit, Durian.
Anybody may have the idea of how awful the smell of the King of Fruits is, but not everybody knows what kind of variety one should choose to suit your taste.

Here’s a guide:

Variety: ARANCILLO
Taste: magkahalong pait and tamis
Durian Meat’s Color & texture: pale yellow and creamy
Smell:

Variety: PUYAT
Taste: matamis, walang halong pait
Durian Meat’s Color & texture: very meaty (one durian seed)
Pale yellow
Smell:

Variety: NATIVE DURIAN
Taste: Native durian ang may pinakamapait na lasa. The Tatak Durian taste.
Durian Meat’s Color & texture: white; not very meaty pero maraming laman ang isang buto
Smell:

Variety: COB
Taste: this variety is recommended to people who dont like “mapait” na durian
Durian Meat’s Color & texture: yellow & creamy durian meat

Variety: MALAYSIAN NATIVE DURIAN
Taste: extreme durian taste; magkahalong pait and tamis
