Araw ng Davao City 2012 Advisory

In view of the celebration of the "Araw ng Davao" 75th year founding anniversary celebration, ALL PERMITS TO CARRY FIREARMS OUTSIDE OF RESIDENCE (PTCFORs) ARE HEREBY TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED FOR THIRTY-ONE (31) DAYS EFFECTIVE MARCH 1 TO 31, 2012 IN DAVAO CITY with the end in view that only members of the PNP, AFP and other Law Enforcement Agencies who are performing official duties and in agency-prescribed uniform will be allowed to carry firearms in the City. This is part of the security preparations to ensure that the celebration of the "Araw ng Davao" will be free from firearm-related incidents and safe for the populace as well as tourists.


Be attentive and Secure for Peace development during Events in Davao City  celebrating  75th Araw ng Davao.If you have firearms please do not bring to the public places during the  restricted area.Thank you
